Then and Now + Reflecting on progress

Hi friends, the other day a photo popped up on my Facebook memories from TWO years ago of my best friend who had let me take photos of her! I did a little ” Crap, wait, I took that photo?” It is CRAZY where education and passion can take you!!! It felt that a little then and now was needed.

Now, I am letting myself be vulnerable by sharing these photos, but we all had to start somewhere and I think it is important to share this. This doesn’t have to be useful for just a potential photographer, but for anyone who wants to achieve their goals. It’s not just time that will show progress, but also the unseen hard work that goes into it that WILL become something wonderful OVER time.

Two summers ago I started my business with NO IDEA what I was doing, but luckily I had help from other photographers, thanks to the Rising Tide Society! Since then. I have been able to have the opportunity to capture such precious moments for seniors, meet some of the most amazing people, and love every second that I do this! A few bumps in the road later I am so happy to see my growth, but I am so excited for the next step back when I get to see the growth once again in the future!
