I started photography as a 15 year old in high school thinking this would become just a fun hobby. Funny how life has bigger plans. Here I am today doing this full time and I wouldn't change a single thing!
I always remember myself begging anyone I knew to "tell me a story". It could've been about my parents growing up, what we used to do as kids, what life was like for them, I wanted to hear it all. Now I get why I love what I do so much.
I am still begging people to tell me stories but this time I am living it with them in real time. I get to be a part of the story, giving you images to show to your grandkids when they beg to hear a story too.
Never underestimate the power of an image that is purposefully taken. These are once in a lifetime events that I hold the duty to capture, and I don't take that lightly. I make a promise to all of my couples and families to photograph so that it feels true to who they are as people.
So much love for these two little girls who show me unconditional love each and every day.
I make it a point to go somewhere new each year, so far Utah and Colorado have been my favorite. Although, I'll never turn down going to Disney World!
Meet my little fur ball mister Finnegan. The happiest, sleepiest, little ball of fur.
