Babyprenuer’s : Jessica Esposito- Wildlife photographer

This gal and I have chatted back and forth for THE longest time. So sad that Erie is so far from Long Island, New York. Otherwise I would’ve already had a shoot with this girl. Jessica is such an inspiring photographer who, 18 now, started when she was 13!!! Guys she was basically a fetus capturing the wildlife in the most perfect way. Since then she has expanded to portrait, engagement, event, and equestrian photography.

Jessica is so inspiring to follow on social media I love hearing the stories behind her images. I mean this girl gets up and out in crazy weather at crazy times. Plus she makes me wish the animal’s she photographed were my pets.

After reading her questionnaire I could relate to her on so many levels, I bet you can too.

Here’s a little from her Q+A :

Q: How has your age affected your business?

A: “Positively, I’ve gained more exposure to the issues that I’m personally passionate about because I began at such a young age; however, it has been negative in the fact that most people underestimate my time and effort. I get paid very little for the work I put in, which is a struggle for me as an up and coming photographer in the area.”

Q: What is your favorite thing about your business?

A: “I’m very personal. I love to get to know my clients, but more importantly I love to tie in the beauty of where I live into my photos. I really focus on incorporating Long Island into each and every shoot, in a different aspect each time.”

Q: What is one of the biggest goals you have when it comes to your business?

A: “I want to shoot weddings! I do have my first one in October, but I’d love to shoot some more thereafter.”

Q: Who is your biggest inspiration?

A: “I have a bunch of inspirations. To name a few, I follow the work of lots of wildlife photographers on Instagram! Seeing other’s finds really intrigues me to want to go and explore! Additionally, my best friend really supports me and my passions. I think it’s vital to have someone, at least one person, as your backbone, whether it is for business or personal matters, and she happens to be there for both!”

Q: What is a goal you have that is NON business related.

A: “I want to be an environmentalist! I’m so excited to be working in the future on conserving the ecosystem of Long Island. It is my biggest passion, and I’m very happy to be taking that next step! ”
