Lake shore wedding Katie and Ryan

Okay, this post has taken me a little longer than I thought it would. Maybe because I didn’t want it to be over. Or maybe I just holding on to all the memories I have of this day.

I get attached to my couples, and they become friends that I miss as soon as I leave their wedding. Well, that’s exactly the case with Katie and Ryan. These two hired me after my 3rd wedding that I ever did. They had faith in me that early on, and have seen me change and grow.

We started talking in June of 2018, and here we are In October of 2019. Over a whole year of planning, texting, and counting down! Then just like that it happened.

On the morning of their wedding day, Katie got ready at her parents house. Ryan got ready at his. Now, this house that Katie grew up in was an actual dream first of all. It just seemed so fitting, to have her get ready in the house she grew up in surrounded by the people who she cared so much about.

There were so many tears, laughs, smiles during all parts of their day. I honestly am at loss of words to continue to tell you more about Katie + Ryan’s wedding. So I will just let the images do the talking.

These wedding dress details were KILLING me, every little pattern was gorgeous.

This father daughter first look had me DEAD. It was the sweetest reaction between the two of them… just pure happiness.

Caught this sweet moment of Katie’s grandfather playing the Piano before he saw her in her dress.

Let’s talk about these badass shirts under their suits LOL!

So thankful they snuck back outside during sunset for some last few golden hour portraits!

Katie and Ryan,

Thank you a million. For becoming people I now call friends. For trusting me to capture your wedding. Just everything. I am so excited to see you two grow together through life.

xoxo,

Mic
