This summer my family and I took a road trip to Charleston and Myrtle Beach.  I got to have a little pick in where we went and of course I needed to at least get to a beach, but I also wanted to check out some gorgeous views! We first stopped at Charleston, my gosh it was GORGEOUS the buildings were so so so colorful and lively!  Then we drove to Myrtle Beach and man oh man you know I was in love with the salt water air and sandy toes!!!

I was debating on how, when, and where I wanted my own senior photos. Then I said why the heck not take some on vacation and break the rules a little. A little side note, I literally never wear my sunglasses for blocking the sun out of my eyes. 100% of the time they are sitting on top of my head and you guessed it, they are appearing in some of my senior pictures… lol.

Part one of the session is at a plantation in Charleston, but we had such harsh light and we were all sweating buckets so the photos wouldn’t have been appealing haha. Part two was in down town Charleston where the wind was ridiculous and my hair ended up frizzing up a tad so the sunglasses had to go in! Lastly I did a golden hour session at the beach, and the next morning a sunrises session ( you bet I was exhausted getting up at 5:30 in the  morning for those). Being from Erie, PA where the sunrises and sunsets are GORGEOUS my mind was expecting that at Myrtle… I was mistaken, but we got a cool gloomy like feel in the pictures!!
