Lindsay and Jon Elegant Home town wedding

Oh my gosh. Where do I even start. Lindsay and Jon were one of the first engagement sessions I’ve ever had, and that was over a year ago. Since then I’ve been able to build a relationship with Lindsay from planning her wedding to just chatting about how excited we were for this day. They got married in their hometown, Bradford. When I arrived, I literally felt like I was a part her family on her wedding day.

The morning of the wedding I woke up to hit the road for two hours before meeting up with her. All the girls were all getting ready across the street from the church making it SUPER convenient for everyone. Lindsay was able to enjoy her day taking things slow, as she was surrounded by people she loved. And delicious food! As the time went on time grew closer and closer for her to get ready, things started to pick up. But I couldn’t help but notice the way her mother and aunt looked at her in admiration, looking more and more like a bride. The smiles and squeals of her bridesmaids as she put on her dress. That complete look, even had me tearing up.

Then came the ceremony, I was hustling all over to get all the shots before it was too late. But I crept outside the church to get a shot I envisioned, time stood still just for a moment. For a moment. As she was walking up those steps into the church, one by one. The dress was swaying, bouquet in one hand, and then she was half way down the aisle. Lindsay and Jon said I do in the town that they first met. The day wasn’t half done, but was already moving so quickly.

Before we knew it, we were walking into the most breathtaking reception. From the flowers to the sweets table, everything was carefully planned and thought out.

Lindsay and Jon thank you for letting me be a part of your lives. I am so excited to see where this next chapter in your life leads you.

xoxo

Okay can we take a moment to say…. this is a literal fairy tale wedding. The dress. Her hair. The smiles. LIKE YES.

Are y’all even ready for these?! The amount of beauty and detail that went into every piece of the day will have you just breathless.
